Need someone who can audit SQL Server Databases and provide an audit report.

The Scope of work, requirements & deliverables from the Freelancer

[login to view URL] of Work: The freelancers will be responsible for the following tasks: a. Analyzing the database structure, including tables, indexes, and relationships. b. Reviewing and evaluating security settings, including user access permissions, roles, and authentication methods. c. Assessing the performance of the databases, identifying any bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and recommending improvements. d. Verifying compliance with SQL Server best practices, including naming conventions, data types, constraints, and indexing strategies. e. Identifying any potential data integrity issues or vulnerabilities. f. Reviewing storage including hard disk and memory utilization g. Documenting findings, recommendations, and any required corrective actions in an audit report.

The freelancer will not have access to the Databases but will need to provide a process & procedure to get the relevant information. The process and procedure will be followed to get the required information and be provided to the Freelancer.

In-depth knowledge of SQL Server architecture, administration, and performance optimization. c. Strong understanding of database security principles and best practices. d. Proficiency in SQL query optimization and troubleshooting. e. Familiarity with auditing methodologies and frameworks. f. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. g. Effective communication skills to clearly document findings and recommendations.

[login to view URL]: The following deliverables are expected from the freelancers: a. Audit report: A comprehensive report detailing the findings, recommendations, and corrective actions. b. Documentation: Any supporting documentation, scripts, or queries used during the audit. c. Presentation: A summary presentation highlighting key findings and recommendations (optional).

[login to view URL]: The timeline for the audit and report generation will be mutually agreed upon with the selected freelancers. However the expectation is to complete the Audit as early as possible.

[login to view URL] and Data Security: The freelancers must adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and ensure the security of the client's data throughout the auditing process. Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) may be required.
