The employer has a large amount of experimental physiological data which has been recorded from an anaesthetic physiological monitoring system using the ‘Delphi’ programming language.
The data consists of a number of files which comprise a series of fixed-length, packed data records each of which is 1490 bytes in length. The employer wishes to process these data in the C# environment.
The freelancer will be required to design and implement a C# program which reads the recorded data record by record into a byte array and then transforms these data into a C# structure (or class).
The solution will simply be required to read records once per second, and to display 5 values contained within each record in a series of ‘label’ text fields.
Essentially, the project is only about the implementation of a fairly complex C# structure (or class) which can be rapidly and efficiently populated from a byte array.
The integrity of the source data can be assumed, and no other functionality is required.
The project will be required to run under VS 2012.
