CMYK-only export or color-managed mixed RGB/CMYK with device-link conversions? - Editing/OCR: when a page already has PDF text, do you want true in-stream edits (preserve glyph positions, embed/subset fonts, CID mapping, bidi shaping) or a non-destructive overlay fallback? For scans, prefer paragraph reflow or bbox-accurate text?
