Important flag before you award, because most bids will promise the Auto-Scaling Group without mentioning it: WordPress cannot simply be placed behind an ASG as-is. WordPress writes to local disk - uploads, plugin and theme files. Add a second instance behind the load balancer and an image uploaded on server A returns 404 from server B, and a plugin update applies to one instance only. The site gets less reliable, not more. The instances have to be made stateless first - shared media on S3 or EFS, code baked into the image - and then scaling works properly. Second: an ASG scales web servers, but they all still point at one database. That's your real ceiling and your real single point of failure, so the database moves to managed RDS with sizing and read replicas rather than sitting on the same EC2 box. Otherwise "never goes down" holds until the DB is the thing that falls over. ₹12,500, 2 days: admin panel migrated from Namecheap, EC2 right-sized off Free Tier, ALB, ASG on stateless instances, RDS with tuning and backups, HTTPS, monitoring and alerts. One question: roughly what traffic are you seeing at the peaks that crash it now?
