Freelance Developer for Code Review & Optimization

We’ve built a website and are looking to hire a freelance developer to review the codebase and database setup. The goal is to ensure everything is clean, secure, optimized, scalable, and ready for production. We also need help integrating UPI and Razorpay payments. What we need you to check & do: Code quality (clean, modular, maintainable) Database design & queries (normalization, indexing, performance) Security vulnerabilities (SQL injection, XSS, authentication, etc.) Performance & scalability improvements Suggestions for best practices and optimization Integration of UPI and Razorpay payment gateway Deliverables: A detailed review report highlighting issues and recommendations Actionable steps for improvements UPI and Razorpay integration (Optional) Fixing additional issues (can be a separate engagement if needed) Tech Stack: Backend: Django 5.x, Django REST Framework, Celery, WebSockets Database: SQLite (dev), PostgreSQL (prod) Frontend: React 19.x, Tailwind CSS, Axios Authentication: JWT-based Hosting/Version Control: Git/GitHub + cloud hosting Who we’re looking for: Strong background in full-stack web development Experience with Django + React projects Knowledge of database optimization and security best practices Prior experience integrating payment gateways (preferably Razorpay & UPI) professional experience preferred This is a freelance job — remote candidates are welcome.
