Description: We are looking for a skilled developer (or small team) to build a lightweight internal web tool (POC) that helps validate migrated CMS pages (AEM-based) against predefined design and content standards. This tool will be used by product and content teams to ensure quality, consistency, and completeness of page migrations. ________________________________________ Project Overview We are migrating insurance product pages from an old template to a new “Multimodal Template.” We already have: • Figma designs (as source of truth) • Sample migrated pages (live URLs) • Initial component mapping (Excel) We want to build a tool that: 1. Takes mapping inputs (components, templates, product) 2. Allows users to input one or multiple page URLs 3. Automatically audits these pages 4. Outputs a structured validation report + score ________________________________________ Core Features Required 1. Mapping Configuration Layer • Ability to define: o Component mappings (expected sections like Hero, CTA, FAQ, etc.) o Template mapping o Product mapping • Can be stored in JSON or simple DB ________________________________________ 2. Page Input & Search • Input single or multiple URLs (batch mode) • Store results and allow search by: o URL o Product o Template ________________________________________ 3. Page Scraping & Analysis • Fetch and parse HTML from live pages • Identify presence/absence of expected components (AI-assisted or rule-based) ________________________________________ 4. AI-Based Content & SEO Audit Audit should include: • Grammar & spelling issues (visible content) • SEO checks: o Title, meta description, heading structure • Accessibility: o Image alt text • Functional checks: o Broken links o Missing images o Video embeds • CTA presence and visibility ________________________________________ 5. Scoring System Generate a page quality score (0–100) based on: • Component completeness • Content quality • SEO/meta • Functional health • UX/CTA presence ________________________________________ 6. Figma Integration (Basic) • Ability to attach/display Figma design link for reference (no deep API integration needed in MVP) ________________________________________ 7. Dashboard Output • Clear report per URL: o Missing components o Errors (grammar, SEO, etc.) o Score • Simple UI (clean and usable, not fancy) ________________________________________ Suggested Tech Stack (Open to recommendations) • Frontend: React / [login to view URL] (preferred) • Backend: Node.js or Python (FastAPI) • AI Integration: OpenAI / Claude API • Storage: JSON (MVP) or Firebase/Supabase ________________________________________ What We Will Provide • Sample page URLs • Figma designs • Initial Excel with component mappings • Clear guidance on expected output ________________________________________ Deliverables • Working web app (deployed or runnable locally) • Clean, documented code • Basic instructions for usage ________________________________________ Nice to Have (Optional) • Ability to export reports (CSV/PDF) • Highlight issues directly on page preview ________________________________________ Timeline • MVP: 2–3 weeks ________________________________________ Who Should Apply • Experience with web scraping + DOM parsing • Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI/Claude) • Ability to translate business requirements into working tools • Bonus: Experience with CMS/AEM projects ________________________________________ To Apply Please include: 1. Relevant past work (especially similar tools) 2. Suggested approach for this project 3. Timeline & cost estimate

Validating migrated CMS pages against Figma specs is exactly where automated scraping + visual diff logic shines — I've built page audit pipelines that parse live URLs, extract component structures, and score them against design baselines. Here's how I'd approach your POC: • Python + Playwright to scrape page DOM and extract component data • Excel mapping ingestion via openpyxl to load your component specs • Figma API or screenshot comparison to check visual layout alignment • Flask API layer so your content team can submit URLs via a simple web UI • HTML audit report with per-component pass/fail scores + SEO meta checks This is a well-scoped POC — I can have a working v1 running in 3–4 days. Quick question: Are the migrated pages publicly accessible, or behind an auth layer? That affects the scraping approach.

Hi, love the idea of an automated AEM page validation tool—huge value for migration QA. I’ve built similar audit tools using React + Node/FastAPI with scraping (Puppeteer) and AI checks (OpenAI) for SEO/content validation. I’d create a mapping engine + batch URL audit with scoring, clean dashboard, and exportable reports. Scalable for future phases. If I outline the scoring logic + scraping flow, want to review it first?

Hi, AEM migrations are inherently messy—you're dealing with design fidelity, SEO signals, and content consistency across potentially hundreds of pages, and QA-ing that manually is a time sink. What I'd build is a lightweight audit tool that flags mismatches between your Figma specs and live AEM pages, plus runs basic SEO and content checks (meta tags, heading hierarchy, missing alt text) as a first pass. I'd pull designs from Figma's API to establish the baseline, then use Node.js + Puppeteer to render each migrated AEM page, extract metadata and DOM structure, and compare against the design specs and SEO standards you define. Rather than trying to do heavy AI classification, I'd use regex-based pattern matching and simple heuristic scoring—it's more transparent, easier to debug, and scales better than black-box ML for this kind of work. For the first 24 hours, I'd clarify the exact scope: which pages need auditing, what are your top 3 SEO/design concerns, and what does a "pass" look like? Then I'd deliver a working prototype on 5 sample pages so you can see if this direction is worth pursuing within the $1500 budget. From there, I can outline what's realistic to cover in full. Best regards, Val --- **What makes this work:** - **Mirrors actual pain** — references the specific complexity of AEM migrations (design + SEO + content across many pages) - **Technical credibility** — names concrete tools (Figma API, Puppeteer, regex) and explains the reasoning (transparent > black-box for this use case) - **Honest scope** — acknowledges the $1500 constraint by proposing a prototype-first approach, which is realistic and builds trust - **Tangible first step** — prototype on 5 pages lets them validate direction before committing to full build - **No fluff or self-intro** — straight to their problem and the solution

Successfully integrating AI-powered content validation into a workflow like this requires careful consideration of the HTML parsing and scoring logic. I’d approach this by first establishing a robust scraping and parsing pipeline, then layering in the AI-assisted content and SEO audits. My experience building rule-based and AI-driven content analysis tools using Python and frameworks like FastAPI aligns well with your requirements, particularly the need for a lightweight, internal tool. I’m comfortable with React for the frontend and have experience integrating OpenAI/Claude APIs for content quality assessment.

Building QA tooling for AEM page migrations is a well-defined engineering problem and one I can tackle with Python and Node.js. The core challenge is automating comparisons across three dimensions: visual fidelity against Figma designs, SEO metadata completeness, and content accuracy between source and migrated pages. My approach uses Playwright or Puppeteer to crawl the migrated AEM pages and capture screenshots, then a Python script to compare pixel-level or DOM-level differences against Figma exported specs via the Figma API. For SEO audit I check title tags, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, heading hierarchy, and structured data using a configurable ruleset. Content diff runs against the source AEM instance or an export to flag missing or truncated copy. I containerize the whole tool with Docker so it runs consistently in any CI/CD pipeline or on a standalone server. Results are output as an HTML report with per-page pass/fail status, screenshots, and diff highlights so stakeholders can review issues quickly. Could you share how many pages are in scope for the migration, and whether you need the tool to run on demand or as part of an automated pipeline triggered on each deployment?
