I have a software, written in MS Access, database is MS SQL (used through ODBC), the code itself is Visual Basic for Applications. I want to rewrite this software on a modern, web based platform, using ASP.NET Core MVC, .NET 10, Entity Framework 10 etc. The software stores extras (background artists, walk-ons) for movies. The persons have tens of various data (contact details, physical details, abilities, billing details etc.), photos. The system allows the creation and modification of these data, allows querying based on all available attributes, allowes complex queries etc. The persons can be allocated to productions (movies), providing some extra information, like casting numbers, category/role, fee etc. There are approx. 15 reports in the system. The total work is estimated is approx. 600 hours, using AI to convert some of the code. So it is a requirement to use AI to minimizte the need of manual rewriting of code. I will provide a description of how the new solution should be built up, what kind of projects do we want, what kind of technologoes to be used etc. I prefer to work in weekly sprints, so for each week I would define the set of tasks to be done. The whole project should be completed in max. 16 weeks, starting mid of May. Of course, I can share the MS Access application and also a DB copy with those applicants where I see a serious chance to make an agreement. The MS Acess solution is in Hungarian language, so it is expected that you use some language translation to understand the frontend. But I can also help with this. I won't bee too complicated.
