Starting Accounting process with UiPAth , with the scope to gather data from scanned documents and post it in accounting software. Accounting software are DBF based. Basically we expect developers with UiPath knowledge, because we would like to have the development trough UiPath Studio. The accounting process trough UiPath , will be: 1. open a folder; 2. check if new pdf files are in the folder (pdf are issued invoices to different Clients) 3. if invoices or new invoices are existing, in the folder (pdf files) then run an OCR to obtain a set of data which will be gathered in an excel worksheet. In the excel worksheet some validation and data computation will be necessary to be coded. 4. after the data are obtain trough OCR and inserted in the excel worksheet, the process will open the accounting software, and will fill each field from excel worksheet to the designated accounting software field 5. Change the name for the original PDF file, in order to attach to the initial name the following "[login to view URL]:hh:mm 6. Send an e-mail to designated e-mail addresses regarding the posting and process ending with success or with error. We provide remote access to the machine which contain: a) the folder with the PDF files; b) UiPath Studio c) accounting software The project will be delivered as UiPath Studio file will all dependencies and code, and with written short documentation, and will be tested. Proposed milestones are: I. Working UiPath workflow which provide the steps 1 to 6 with minimum 2 invoices of each existing situation .. USD II. Testing UiPath workflow with at least 150 invoices, and provide all the bug fixing and unforeseen issues resolution. .. USD III. Deliver the project with the Milestone I and II Resolved, as UiPAth Studio working workflow, with all dependencies and code, with short written documentation .. USD

By our experience, we do not recommend doing work using UI elements(but we use UI where no alternate found) because it increases the chance of failure in the workflow. So for the above-mentioned flow, we can use workbook and database activities for making it reliable and faster. Verification for successful entry will be done. Unit Testing and integration testing will be part of the workflow and other testings can be implemented on the basis of requirement. Documentation will be provided with annotations inside the workflow. We agree all 6 steps and 2 milestones mentioned. As u mentioned all the steps in the workflow, and all dependencies are present in Remote, so it will easy and faster to map the flow. But have some questions to ask.
