We’re a private language school, Your English Schoo USA, LLC based in Miami. We run a Summer Camp Program for Teenagers in New York and are about to start our annual hiring for NYC.
For our Summer Camp in New York, we hire temporary staff for a a period from 1 week to 4 weeks. At the moment we’re advertising the following positions:
* ESL Teachers
* Director of Studies - we will be hiring just one person but we would like to advertise both positions (residential and non-residential) to see which candidates we can get and then see
* Activity Leaders
* Activity Manager
* Admin positions (we offer internships) - there are residential and non-residential positions
There are 7 job descriptions attached but the two descriptions for the director of studies are more or less identical with the only exception of some residential responsibilities and housing. The same applies to the admin positions. For some reason out of 7 job descriptions, we were only able to attach 4, so we'd be happy to send the other 3 upon request.
We’re looking for a lawyer to take a look at these job descriptions and make appropriate changes from a legal point of view and also to proofread and edit the job descriptions, if needed. We’d like to make sure that we’re following laws (labor laws, etc.) and the job descriptions are all fine.
We also have a few small letters to check for a lawyer that we wrote as samples for our students’ parents/their relatives/chaperones, etc:
1. Excused Absence from Class/Excursion – Sample Parental Permission
This is a letter that we require parents/guardians to send to us as a permission for their child not to attend classes/excursions. According to our code of conduct, all kids must attend classes and excursions, so kids cannot just miss them without a written permission from the parent.
2. Sample Parental Permission to Leave YES USA Care
This letter should be sent to the school by a parent in case they want their kid to leave our care to go out with either parents/relatives. In this case we’re releasing any responsibility/liability.
3. Group Release Letter to Leave YES USA Care (from a group leader)
This letter must be sent to the school by a group leader in case he/she would like to take his/her students/group off the campus and leave our care. In this case we’re releasing any responsibility/liability.
For these letters, we’re looking for a lawyer to proofread, edit and make sure that we’re legally protected and edit accordingly.
Please kindly provide us with your best quote and the deadline you can have everything ready.
