I need a circuit and a PCB developed for the following project:
This is going to be a very simple chicken coop door controller with nothing but the essential features.
The circuit must not have anything oscillating at over 9kHz to be exempt from FCC testing requirements.
Clarification: Nothing should be working on frequencies over 9kHz in the circuit. Components that are capable to work at frequencies over 9kHz are ok.
The circuit is powered from a 12v battery or a 12v power supply. DC motor (under 1 amp) opens and closes the door, so it needs to rotate in both directions, depending on the light level.
Two limit switches to stop power to the motor when the coop door is all the way up or all the way down.
The logic is as follows:
When ambient lightning has reached a certain limit (at the time of sunrise), the motor is energized and opens the door.
At sunset, When ambient lightning again has reached a certain limit , the motor is energized in the opposite direction and closes the door.
Please include a hysteresis loop to prevent the circuit from turning the motor on and off repeatedly when the light levels are around the trigger levels
Motor should be energized for 30-90 seconds (adjustable by a pot or by replacing time delay components), after which there is no power to motor regardless of limit switches.
Temp range -25C +45C, LDR output should not deviate more than 5% within the temp range at low light (dusk/dawn).
No screen. Light level sensitivity adjustment is made by a pot.
2 buttons on board for opening and closing the door (overriding the door position until next open or close) unless this is hard to implement.
The circuit should draw <=1ma when idle.
5.5x21mm 12v jack, a small terminal block for motor. LDR mounting should have 2 options: on board and a pluggable terminal block for remote LDR installation.
