The supplier will receive from us the mechanical layout of the cap in STEP format and will be responsible for designing, industrializing, and delivering the complete electronics (hardware, firmware, and integration support) in accordance with the specifications described below. 2. Required functionalities Selfie Camera ESP32-CAM module with OV2640 camera or equivalent. Control via smartphone through Bluetooth/Wi-Fi. Local streaming and/or image transfer. Internal Bottle Sterilization UV-C LED 275 nm, 5 V (1 unit). Activation through push button on the cap. Safety interlock (Hall sensor or switch) to allow UV-C activation only when the cap is screwed on. Automatic timer and thermal management (duty cycle max 3–5 min, NTC sensor for protection). Power Supply Rechargeable Li-Po battery or alternative disposable solution, at supplier’s choice, provided that the performance requirement is met (see §3). Charging through USB-C with integrated charging management. Battery protection circuit (PCM). Other specifications Status LED for user feedback (charging, UV-C ON, error). USB-C port also for ESP32 programming/debug (USB↔UART integrated or via test pads). PCB shape adapted to semicircular layout of the cap, with optimized space management and proper antenna clearance (Wi-Fi/BLE). 3. Performance requirements Minimum autonomy: 2 hours of continuous operation of the ESP32-CAM camera. ≥ 2 UV-C sterilization cycles per day (3 minutes each). Design requirement: the supplier is responsible for selecting and dimensioning the battery (capacity, format, number of cells) in order to meet these performance targets within the available space (cylinder Ø60 mm / h=23 mm, semicircular portion dedicated to electronics). 4. Inputs provided by the client STEP 3D file of the cap with mechanical layout and dimensional constraints. Functional specifications (this document). Reference components for guidance (ESP32-CAM, UV-C LED 275 nm, USB-C, Hall sensor, NTC, Li-Po pouch). 5. Outputs required from the supplier Complete hardware design Electrical schematic (PDF + CAD source files). PCB layout (Gerber files, native design files, BOM). Bill of Materials (BOM) with component codes, packages, footprints, and recommended suppliers. Prototyping Delivery of an initial batch of fully functional prototypes. Support for integration testing with the mechanical part (STEP 3D file of the PCB). Basic firmware UV-C LED ON/OFF control via push button with interlock logic. BLE/Wi-Fi management for camera control via smartphone. Implementation of safety logics (timeout, thermal monitoring). Optional API/documentation for remote control. Technical documentation Technical manual (architecture, block diagrams, pinout). Energy specifications (autonomy calculations, consumption in different scenarios). Production guidelines (assembly, testing procedures). 6. Selection criteria Proven experience in the development of compact embedded systems with energy constraints. Previous projects involving ESP32 modules and UV-C LED drivers. Ability to deliver full documentation and working prototypes within defined timelines. Availability to support industrialization in cooperation with our mechanical team.
