Electronic USRT design

Need to stablish by hardware a synchronous system type of transmition-reception(USRT), with error detection, to simulate serial transmition betwen two workstations and the efect of distance in electrical conductive materials. Details: The workstations must support a data of 8 bits in parallel, must memorize it in case of redirects. The transmission protocol must have 5 bits initiation mode, 1 bit parity and 1 stop bit. The receiver should display the data in parallel by LED indication. The transmitter means must be copper pair, not less than 1 meter. Then you can increase the distance to recognize the effects on transmission. Instructions: Develop functional block diagrams that allow you to complete the request. Indicate inputs and outputs of each block. Each block design using TTL devices.
