Coffee Machine Controller
This is an URGENT requirement for a client. The board will be based around a Microchip PIC16F1527 - the hardware design is 90% complete. You just need to sign off on your preferred configuration of I/O and assist in developing a single RTD input. The hardware will feature;
8 Relay Outputs
6 keyswitches x 4 scan lines (24 multiplexed)
6 LEDs x 4 scan lines (24 multiplexed)
4 x Flow Sensor Inputs (logic pulse proportionate to flow)
4 x Water Level Probes (logic from Op-Amp pulled Low when water present)
16 x 2 LCD Display in 4 bit mode (4 data + 2 control preferred)
1 x Serial Connection (for future use)
1 x Buzzer output
1 x PWM Output (fixed at approx 500Hz
Menu system - ENGLISH only to start, but will introduce other languages as time permits and market requires it.
The 'basic' description of function is 4 groups of 6 buttons. Of those 6 buttons, one is 'manual' - simply toggles it's relay on and off. Another 4 are 'portions'. Press a button, grab a value from EEPROM and monitor the corresponding flow sensor for interrupts. If the count reaches EEPROM value, then that drink finished. Last button is simply timed. Time setting stored in EEPROM.
Will start with 'basic' functions to start, then add new features later as a separate 'software upgrade' project that the successful candidate would have first option on.
You MUST write and submit WELL COMMENTED and 'modular' ASM code. Please do not bid if you want to write this in a higher level language.
We will supply you with one or more new completed boards - ready to program. We can also supply you with one of the client's old boards - fully operational. FULL function spec provided to successful candidate.
Prefer candidates to be based locally in Australia - should a face to face meeting be required - otherwise, we can communicate via the Internet.
This is an important client and is a good opportunity for us. More work will follow.
