Design a PCB embedded Inductor (preference Altium) and match with a signal transformer and existing LC oscillator for maximum sensitivity in presence of wheel flange. Provide design details and supporting data (simulation) on embedded PCB coil. You must be a magnetics/electronics expert with previous experience in this field.
Requirement to detect a wheel flange 20mm-35mm from the PCB coil (metal flange 20mm x 50mm dimensions) which is connected to a shielded cable up to 10m in length to a LC oscillator/detector.
Require advice on optimum frequency of operation. Require a racetrack type inductor to maximise the time the wheel flange is over the sensor. Wheel flange can be travelling up to 180km/h. Can supply enclosure details for modelling the magnetics.
