I have a tested PCB design, I simply need the design to be more space efficient.
It drops the DC voltage from a battery network down to a lower voltage and uses an external 12VDC signal to trigger a relay to fire the shunt coil on an MCCB using the battery voltage as it's supply.
The OHM and wattage of the resistors mounted externally can be selected to allow the PCB to work with different impedance shunt coils and different input voltages.
I want to keep the components the same, just optimise the space use of the design.
The PCB has to handle DC Voltages up to 800VDC + to - and 400VDC to Ground. This will need to be considered when advising what PCB Type and thickness to use and also the position of the PCB tracks.
I want the connectors to be in the same places, however, I need the PCB to be as narrow as possible, the length as it is now is ok.
We use a PCB mill in house to build the prototypes so the design needs to be able to be milled on a PCB mill.
All the designs have be done in DesignSpark PCB. I will make these files available to the project winner.
