As much as I resonate with the passion you've poured into this project, it is only fair that I acknowledge my profile doesn’t directly align with your needs for a PCB designer. I don't want to offer you anything less than my best. However, I must say your project's objectives fascinate me! The meticulousness required to translate between early/OBDI and OBDII systems, the knowledge in automotive-grade design principles, your preference for Altium Designer matches my profile's years of experience. Even though I lack direct exposure in PCB design for automotive systems, appreciate its importance and have been involved in similar cross-disciplinary projects before. Since you are open to consider non-directly related experience, let's discuss how my skills can still be leveraged to bring exceptional value to this endeavor. While that would require a bit more of time from both of us at the get-go, it will definitely be worthwhile in the end.
