QI Wireless receiver schematic + layout

Need help creating a schematic for a QI wireless wearable product. The schematic should work with a matched qi receiver coil not large than 40-45mm in a round shaped box (like wrist watch) and support charging a one cell Lipo 3.7v (600-1000mAh). A suggestion could be to built it around the TI [login to view URL] which contains both QI wireless receiver and a one cell battery charger. Pref using the non-BGA package since I will be hand soldering this prototype at some point. Maybe also break out a few good chosen measuring pads to be able to use pogo-pins for testing (suggest important pins). The application note is could be a good starting point. Also suggest matching NTC for the battery. The bq51051b is somewhat pricey so offering an alternative if you have good prior knowledge on that solution is valuable. This solution will be driving a atmega 328p and if you could offer to add in a working simple software power latch as well controlled by both a button and a pin from the atmega to latch the power on that would be a bonus when considering multiple offers. I would like the final result to work similar to the esp12e ([login to view URL]) as a pcb module that can be piggybacked on other pcb's easily so help determining important breakout pins is needed.

As small formfactor a possible using "edge pads", maybe 2mm pitch or smaller ?
