I’m building a small robotics platform and need a custom, rectangular PCB that merges an ESP-C3 Zero module, a TB6612FNG dual H-bridge driver, and an on-board 12 V step-down supply. The goal is a truly all-in-one control board with the smallest footprint we can practically achieve while still exposing every free GPIO on castellated or pin-header pads for later expansion. Core requirements • The ESP-C3 must retain full Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capability for wireless control and OTA updates. • The TB6612FNG should be routed for two DC motors (or one stepper) with easy screw-terminal or JST output. • The 12 V input will power both the driver and a regulated 3.3 V rail for the MCU; please size components so the board can handle up to 2 A continuous motor current. • Provide breakout points for I²C, SPI and at least two ADC pins so I can attach integrated sensors like IMUs or distance sensors later. Deliverables – Schematic (Altium, KiCad or Eagle) – PCB layout & Gerber/Drill files ready for JLCPCB/PCBWay – Complete BOM with part numbers and footprints – Simple 3D step model for enclosure planning – Design notes explaining power-plane choices, thermal reliefs and any GPIO trade-offs Acceptance criteria 1. Board outline: rectangular, no larger than 45 mm × 30 mm. 2. All unused GPIOs clearly labelled on the silk. 3. Verified DRC/ERC with manufacturer’s standard rules (6 mil/6 mil or better). 4. Reference firmware that blinks an LED, advertises BLE and spins a test motor without brown-outs. If you have experience squeezing mixed-signal designs into tight spaces and can turn this around quickly, I’ll be happy to review your proposal and get started right away.

Hi I am an embedded systems engineer with over 16 years of experience. I have designed compact ESP32/ESP-C3 based control boards, motor-driver PCBs and buck-powered mixed-signal layouts where RF performance, thermal paths and manufacturability all need to fit in a small outline. For this board I would first lock the pin map around the ESP-C3 antenna keepout, motor PWM needs and the requested I²C/SPI/ADC breakouts, then route the TB6612FNG and 12 V to 3.3 V supply with short current loops, proper copper for the motor paths, labelled expansion pads and JLCPCB/PCBWay DRC rules. I can deliver KiCad or Altium files, Gerbers/drills, BOM with orderable parts, STEP model, design notes and a small ESP-IDF/Arduino reference firmware to blink, advertise BLE and run a motor test without brown-outs. A couple of details I would confirm before final layout are your preferred motor connector style, expected peak motor current, and whether you want USB/programming header on-board or via pads to save space. I can also support the bring-up revision after fabrication if needed. Please contact me to discuss details.

Hi, I can design the compact ESP-C3 motor-driver PCB for your robotics platform, including schematic, PCB layout, Gerbers, BOM, STEP model, and basic reference firmware. I have experience with ESP32/ESP-C3 based control boards, compact motor-driver layouts, DC/DC power design, and JLCPCB/PCBWay manufacturing requirements, so I can keep the design within the 45 mm × 30 mm outline while still exposing the unused GPIOs clearly. For the design, I will place the ESP-C3 Zero carefully to preserve Wi-Fi/Bluetooth antenna clearance, route the TB6612FNG motor outputs with proper copper width/thermal relief, and design the 12 V to 3.3 V buck supply with sufficient filtering to avoid MCU brown-outs during motor startup. I will also break out I²C, SPI, ADC, and remaining GPIOs on labelled pads/headers, and provide screw-terminal or JST motor/output options depending on your preference. One technical point I will verify early is the real continuous-current requirement. The PCB will be checked with 6 mil/6 mil or better DRC/ERC rules, include clear silkscreen labels, and be prepared for direct fabrication. I can also provide simple test firmware to blink an LED, advertise BLE, and run a motor test sequence so the hardware can be validated quickly after assembly. I can start right away. Regards.

Hi, I can deliver your board as a complete, manufacturing-ready package — schematic, multilayer layout, and all production files — without the usual back-and-forth between designer and fab house. I have 14+ years of experience in PCB design and firmware development. I work daily in Altium Designer, KiCAD, and Eagle, and I own licenses for Altium and Eagle, so I can start immediately on your project. My background covers: • 2–16 layer PCB layout, high-speed routing, and controlled-impedance design • Mixed-signal boards, power distribution, and EMI-aware placement • Full deliverables: schematic, PCB layout, BoM, Gerbers, pick-and-place, ODB++, assembly drawings, DRC report, and 3D STEP model I previously worked at READA PCB Technology in Shenzhen as a PCB designer and production manager. That factory-side experience means my layouts are built for real manufacturing — correct clearances, sensible via strategy, and DFM/DFA checks before files go out the door. If you also need prototypes or small-batch assembly, I can coordinate PCB fabrication, PCBA, component sourcing, functional testing, and shipping through the Shenzhen network I know well from my time at READA. I am available to start right away and happy to sign an NDA before reviewing your design brief. Looking forward to your reply. Best regards, Ting

Hi, I am a Senior Embedded Systems and PCB Design Engineer with 10+ years of experience in IoT, robotics, motor control, and industrial electronics, delivering 50+ custom PCB designs from prototype to production using KiCad and Altium. I have designed compact ESP32/STM32-based control boards, motor drivers, power management circuits, and 4-layer PCBs with strict DFM, thermal, EMC, and RF considerations, including boards manufactured through JLCPCB/PCBWay. Approach: ✅ I will create the complete schematic with ESP-C3 Zero integration, TB6612FNG motor driver interface, 12V-to-3.3V power architecture, protection circuits, GPIO expansion headers, and sensor interfaces. ✅ I will optimize the PCB layout within the 45mm × 30mm limit using compact component placement, solid power planes, thermal copper areas, short motor-current paths, and proper EMI separation. ✅ I will finalize production files including Gerbers, drill files, BOM, 3D model, ERC/DRC verification, and provide firmware validation for BLE, Wi-Fi OTA, GPIO testing, and motor operation. Questions: ✅ Do you have a preferred motor voltage/current range and connector style (JST or screw terminal) for the TB6612FNG outputs? ✅ Should the 12V input support battery operation, and are there specific enclosure or mounting constraints beyond the PCB size limit?
