I am looking for an experienced embedded systems engineer for a small paid evaluation task that may lead to larger long-term development work. The task involves both hardware and firmware work: Review an existing embedded schematic and suggest minor corrections/improvements Modify and reorganize existing firmware structure Adapt firmware to run on a specified development board/devkit Verify basic peripheral functionality and integration Provide clean and understandable source updates with short technical notes The project is intentionally small but practical. I am specifically looking for engineers who are comfortable working with existing hardware and legacy firmware rather than building everything from scratch. Required skills: Embedded C/C++ MCU bring-up and peripheral configuration Reading and reviewing schematics Debugging embedded hardware/firmware interaction Experience with STM32, ESP32, Nordic, or similar MCUs Preferred: Ability to test on real hardware/devkits Good communication and structured engineering workflow Please include: Relevant embedded project experience MCU platforms you commonly use Tools/IDE/debuggers you work with Estimated availability and timeline This is a practical integration-focused task, not a purely academic coding exercise.
