I already built the user interface in SquareLine Studio for an Elecrow 7" CrowPanel (ESP32-S3). The layout consists of four full-screen background images with four transparent touch buttons placed on top. Pressing a button should simply toggle a corresponding light by driving one of the three external relays wired to the CrowPanel’s GPIOs; touching it again turns the same light back off. What I still need is the firmware that ties everything together: • Import the SquareLine-generated LVGL project, read the touch events, and link each of the four on-screen buttons to its relay output. • Drive the relays through ESP32 GPIOs with proper debouncing and visual feedback on the button (e.g. highlighted state while the light is ON). • Provide a clean PlatformIO or Arduino IDE sketch that I can re-compile later, with clear pin definitions so I can relocate the relays if necessary. • A short read-me explaining any required libraries, the build steps, and basic wiring for the three relays. If the code uploads, compiles, and each touch reliably toggles its light, the job is done.

Hello, I can complete the ESP32-S3 firmware that connects your SquareLine Studio/LVGL interface to the CrowPanel relay outputs. I’ll import and organize the generated project, map each touch button to the appropriate GPIO, and implement reliable toggle behavior with debouncing and clear visual ON/OFF feedback. The code will be delivered as a clean, rebuildable PlatformIO or Arduino IDE project with centralized pin definitions, making future relay relocation straightforward. I’ll also verify the GPIO logic against the relay wiring, account for active-high or active-low modules, and provide a concise README covering libraries, compilation/upload steps, and the three-relay wiring basics. I’ll test that the project compiles, uploads successfully, and that repeated touches do not produce accidental toggles. The fourth interface control can be handled according to your intended hardware mapping or reserved cleanly if only three relays are currently connected. Should the fourth touch button control a future relay, or should it remain visually available but disabled until additional hardware is connected? Regards, Muhammad Awais

Hi, I am an embedded systems engineer with over 16 years of experience. I have extensive experience with ESP32 firmware, LVGL touch interfaces, GPIO relay control, and bringing embedded products from prototype through production. I can integrate your SquareLine Studio export with the Elecrow 7-inch CrowPanel, connect the touch events to clearly defined relay GPIOs, add reliable toggle/debounce handling, and keep each button’s highlighted state synchronized with its light. I will provide a clean, recompilable PlatformIO or Arduino IDE project plus a concise README covering libraries, build/upload steps, configurable pin assignments, and relay wiring. One point I would like to confirm is how the four on-screen buttons should map to the three physical relays—whether two buttons share a relay or one button has another function. I can also account for active-high or active-low relay modules once their model is known. I will test compilation and structure the code so future UI or pin changes remain straightforward. Please contact me to discuss details.

I will adapt the SquareLine LVGL outputs from your ESP32-S3 CrowPanel, a microcontroller-based electronics platform, using C programming, to four GPIO-driven relays, ensuring each on-screen touch toggles the corresponding light reliably. I’ll implement clean debouncing and provide immediate visual feedback on the button when the light is ON, so the UI reflects the actual state even during rapid presses. I’ll deliver a lean PlatformIO/Arduino IDE sketch with clear pin definitions and a short readme covering libraries, build steps, and wiring for the three relays, so you can relocate hardware later. Code will be modular, well-commented, and focused on your exact flow; this is a straightforward firmware integration, validated on ESP32-S3 hardware. Would you prefer the on-screen feedback to reflect the relay state immediately after a press or only after debouncing and coil settling? Marko Aleksic

The brief is clear; I’d prove the critical path first, then expand from working evidence. For a ESP32 Touch Panel Relay Control, the hard part is balancing sensor scanning accuracy, battery life, Bluetooth/SIM fallback, and OTA-ready embedded reliability. My approach would be to validate the sensor matrix and power budget first, then design the acquisition PCB, embedded firmware, connectivity fallback, and OTA/admin controls in staged prototypes. Quick question: What is already available for ESP32 Touch Panel Relay Control: a working codebase, designs, data, or only the brief? Also, which one acceptance test would make you confident the first milestone is on the right track? Best, Dr. Syafiq

Hi, I am Adeel. I work mainly in C# and Python across web, mobile and AI systems, but the scope here is exactly the kind of integration work I do for clients: wiring UI events to hardware output with clean, maintainable code. For this I would bring in your SquareLine LVGL project as is, hook the four button callbacks to GPIO writes with a short debounce timer, and toggle button state styles so the ON light is visually obvious. I would structure it as a PlatformIO project with a single pin config file so relocating relays later is a one line change. Can you confirm which three GPIOs the relays are currently wired to, or if that is still open?

Hello, getting the ESP32 touch panel relay control working is really about making the SquareLine UI, LVGL touch events, and GPIO relay switching behave as one reliable system. I work regularly with C Programming, Embedded Systems, and Arduino, which fits closely with what you’re trying to accomplish. I’d start by reviewing your existing SquareLine-generated project and CrowPanel pin setup, then handle the relay mapping and button state feedback in a structured way, testing touch response and relay toggling as I go rather than leaving validation until the end. The goal would be to deliver a clean, re-compilable firmware build that is stable and easy to relocate later. I can begin right away and should have this completed within 7 days. One thing I’d like to confirm before starting: are you targeting PlatformIO or Arduino IDE for the build setup? Best regards, Miguel

I've spent 20+ years in electronics and embedded firmware: ESP32 and STM32 in C, LVGL touch panels, and driving relays from a microcontroller. Your acceptance test is the right one, it either toggles every time or it is not done. Four things on this board decide whether it gets there. 1) Four on-screen buttons and three relays. That mapping needs settling before any code is written; it changes how the UI holds state, and the wiring follows from it. 2) Relays clicking on their own at power-up is the classic complaint with an ESP32 panel. The pins are not quiet while the board boots, so the relay state at reset is something I design for from the start. 3) Clear pin definitions so you can relocate the relays has limits here. The 7 inch RGB display and the touch controller already claim most pins, and a few that look free will misbehave as outputs. I will tell you which are genuinely safe, so a later move stays a one-line edit. 4) The highlighted ON state has to follow the real relay, including when you leave a background screen and come back. That is where these panels end up looking wrong. You get a PlatformIO or Arduino project you can rebuild yourself, pins in one place, and a short read-me covering libraries, build steps and wiring. Two things I need from you: does the fourth button drive a relay you have not wired yet, or share one with another light, and is your relay board active-high or active-low? Please contact me and we can go through the details.

Built firmware to connect SquareLine Studio LVGL UI on Elecrow 7" CrowPanel (ESP32-S3) to four GPIO-driven relay outputs. Reads touch events, maps each on-screen button to its relay, and implements debouncing so repeated taps reliably toggle. Adds visual feedback by updating each button’s highlighted/pressed state to reflect the current relay/light status. Delivers a clean PlatformIO-compatible sketch with explicit, editable pin definitions and a concise README covering required libraries, build/upload steps, and basic wiring for the three relay connections. Outcome-focused: code should compile and upload, with each touch toggling the intended light ON/OFF consistently.

Four transparent buttons over four backgrounds, but only three relays on the CrowPanel GPIOs — does the fourth toggle a relay you haven't wired yet, or share an output with another light? Driving relay coils straight off ESP32-S3 pins without a transistor or opto board sags the 3.3V rail on switching, so I'd check your relay module before touching the SquareLine export. I've built microcontroller firmware for sensor and actuator control in C/C++, RP2040 included, and can wire LVGL touch events to debounced relay toggles with a highlighted ON state.

Hi, I’m an embedded/electronics engineer experienced with ESP32-S3, LVGL, SquareLine Studio, GPIO control, relay interfaces, and PlatformIO/Arduino development. I can integrate your existing SquareLine Studio project with the Elecrow 7" CrowPanel and make the four touch buttons reliably control the external relay outputs. I would: * Import and configure the existing SquareLine-generated LVGL project. * Connect each touch button to its corresponding GPIO/relay output. * Implement reliable touch handling/debouncing and ON/OFF state management. * Update the button appearance to clearly indicate the active light state. * Keep relay pin assignments in one clearly defined configuration section so they can easily be changed later. * Ensure the firmware initializes the relays to a safe state during startup. * Provide a clean, rebuildable PlatformIO or Arduino project rather than a one-off compiled firmware. * Provide a short README covering libraries, build/upload steps, GPIO/relay wiring, and basic troubleshooting. I understand that the UI is already completed, so I will preserve the existing graphics and focus on the firmware integration and reliable operation. Best regards,

The main risk is reliably interpreting touch events from the LVGL project on the ESP32-S3 for toggling relays. I handle this by importing your SquareLine Studio project, reading the touch inputs directly from the LVGL library, and mapping those events to ESP32 GPIOs controlling your external relays. This will give you four on-screen buttons that toggle your lights, with visual feedback on the button for each light's state. I will write a clean Arduino IDE sketch for this. What voltage do the external relays require to activate? I need your SquareLine Studio LVGL project file to begin. My rating is 5.0 across 10 reviews, and I am a Preferred Freelancer.
