I need clean, reliable firmware that will sit on my existing RTU hardware, pull live sensor readings, and publish them to my cloud broker over MQTT. The focus is squarely on accurate data collection from the attached sensors and timely transmission upstream; no local heavy processing is required right now. You will work directly in the device’s embedded environment, set up the drivers for the connected sensors, handle the sampling schedule, form properly structured MQTT messages, and make sure every reading reaches the server even in spotty-network conditions (re-connect logic, message queuing, QoS handling, etc.). This project requires an experienced embedded code developer who can deliver quick turnaround times without compromising quality. Previous work on similar projects is highly valued. I am happy to provide the current hardware schematic, sensor datasheets, and access to a test broker the moment we start. I expect well-commented source code, a concise build guide, and a brief validation log that shows end-to-end delivery of sample data. If you have previously pushed sensor data over MQTT on constrained devices with fast delivery timelines required, you will feel right at home.
