I need production-ready firmware for a small, battery-powered board built around the STM32G031G8U6 (ARM Cortex-M0+, 64 KB flash). The device’s job is straightforward sensor monitoring: it reads two TI TMAG5170 Hall sensors, drives three on-board (internal) gate-driver channels at 100 kHz, then drops back into a low-power sleep until the next timed demo cycle. Everything has to run bare-metal in C, using STM32CubeIDE and the HAL/LL libraries. Core behaviour • Interrupt-driven state machine orchestrating a ~15 s demo cycle with a configurable cooldown between runs. • Timer/PWM generation for the three channels. • Continuous ADC and I²C sampling of the Hall sensors, with simple averaging or filtering as needed. • Battery management for a single-cell 3.85 V Li-Po: enter STOP or STANDBY, wake on timer or external event, and report low-battery via a fault flag. • Watchdog, over-current, and low-battery protection that brings the system into a safe state. What I will provide • Two prototype boards for you to test on, or the full schematic if you prefer to simulate first (NDA required). • Prompt hardware support and clarifications during development and test. What I need back 1. Well-structured, clearly commented source code. 2. A compiled .bin ready for SWD flashing. 3. Brief setup notes so I can reproduce your build in STM32CubeIDE. Please show me a couple of previous STM32 projects that demonstrate your work with timers, ADC, I²C, and low-power modes, along with your proposed timeline and a fixed-price quote. I’m ready to move quickly once we sign the NDA and agree on milestones.

Hi, I can develop the **production-ready bare-metal STM32G031G8U6 firmware** for this battery-powered sensor/control board. I have **16 years of STM32 and embedded R&D experience**, including real-time control, sensor acquisition, PWM/timers, ADC, I²C, watchdogs, low-power battery devices and industrial embedded systems. I can handle: * Interrupt-driven **~15 s state-machine demo cycle** with configurable cooldown * 3-channel **100 kHz timer/PWM generation** * TMAG5170 I²C acquisition with averaging/filtering * ADC monitoring and fault handling * STM32 STOP/STANDBY modes with timer/external wake-up * Li-Po low-battery detection and safe shutdown * Watchdog and over-current protection logic * Clean HAL/LL-based C firmware in STM32CubeIDE * Proper startup/recovery and non-blocking architecture * Production-ready commented source code * Compiled **.bin for SWD programming** * Build/setup documentation and testing support I have worked on STM32 projects involving **high-speed timers/PWM, ADC/DMA, I²C sensors, interrupt-driven state machines and low-power operation**, and can validate the firmware directly on the supplied prototype boards. I’m comfortable working under NDA and collaborating closely during bring-up and debugging. Best regards, Subhash Suman STM32 | Embedded C | RTOS/Bare-Metal | Sensors | Low Power | Firmware

Three on-board (internal) gate-driver channels at 100 kHz are the line I keep coming back to in your note. I cannot tell from that line whether the three outputs are independent PWM or a complementary set with dead time. That single answer changes which timer I set up and whether a fault has to pull all three channels down on the same update event. A one-word reply from you, independent or complementary, is enough for me to lock the PWM block.

I want to be completely transparent: I don’t have previous professional experience with this specific type of STM32 firmware project, so I don’t want to claim experience I don’t have or expect you to award me the project immediately. However, if you’re still looking for the right developer, I’d genuinely appreciate the opportunity to give it a shot. I’m willing to do the necessary self-research on the STM32G031G8U6, TMAG5170, timers/PWM, ADC, I²C, watchdogs, and low-power modes, and carefully study the datasheets and reference material before implementation. If I can demonstrate that I understand the requirements and produce working results on the prototype board, you can then decide whether to continue with me and pay based on the agreed milestones/results. I understand the technical responsibility involved and would approach it carefully rather than pretending I already have this experience.

With my experience as an embedded systems engineer, I have significant experience developing firmware for a variety of microcontrollers including STM32, which aligns well with the requirements of your project. Notably, I've worked extensively with STM32CubeIDE and the HAL/LL libraries - crucial to your project's requirement to run bare-metal in C. You mentioned specific needs like timer management, ADC sampling and I²C interfacing, all of which I’m proficient in. Low-power design is another area I specialize in. Given that this project involves working with a small, battery-powered board, my deep understanding of power-saving modes, like STOP or STANDBY, will be invaluable. Additionally, I have a lot of experience with battery management systems for Li-Po batteries. I approach each project with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering well-structured code with clear documentation; an attribute that I believe sets me apart. My punctuality aligns exactly with your need to move quickly; once we sign the NDA and agree on milestones we can hit the ground running. Moreover, my cross-functional skills in PCB design further make sure there are no gaps throughout the product development process. Should you choose me for this task, I commit to providing you not just a working firmware, but a polished product that meets all your expectations

Hi, I’m very interested in this project. I’m an Embedded Systems & Firmware Engineer with around 10 years of professional experience developing C/C++ firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers, including bare-metal systems. This project is closely aligned with my background: interrupt-driven state machines, timers/PWM, ADC, I2C, watchdogs, fault handling, low-level peripheral control and hardware/firmware integration. I’m comfortable working directly with MCU peripherals and producing structured, maintainable production firmware rather than prototype-level code. I can work with STM32CubeIDE and HAL/LL and provide the complete source code, reproducible build instructions and the final .bin for SWD flashing. For the low-power implementation, I would structure the firmware around interrupts/events, keeping active time to a minimum and using STOP/STANDBY modes with timer/external wake-up as required. I’d be happy to review the schematic under NDA and confirm the architecture, milestones and fixed-price quote before starting.

Hi, I’m a hardware engineer and use STM32CubeIDE for STM32 firmware development at the company where I work. I have worked with STM32G0 microcontrollers in two projects: one at my company and another that I’m currently developing for a client. I’m interested in your project and would be happy to review the schematic and detailed requirements after signing the NDA, then propose a timeline and fixed-price quote.
