I am building an ultra-compact wrist-worn fitness band that must reliably track heart rate and steps while syncing over Bluetooth. I already have the industrial design envelope; now I need an experienced hardware engineer who can turn that concept into a production-ready PCB. Scope • Create the full schematic, selecting a low-power MCU/BLE SoC, optical heart-rate sensor (PPG), 3-axis accelerometer, and power-management IC for a rechargeable Li-Po cell with on-board charging. • Lay out a rigid or rigid-flex board that fits the tight enclosure constraints and maintains signal integrity for the optical sensor and antenna. • Optimise for battery life, drop resistance, and ease of automated assembly. • Produce a complete manufacturing package—BOM, Gerber/ODB++, pick-and-place, assembly drawings—and be available for one design revision after the first round of DFM feedback from the assembler. Deliverables (all native files welcome in Altium, KiCad, or another mainstream tool) 1. Annotated schematic and PCB layout 2. Clean, ordered BOM with component alternatives where lead-times are high 3. Gerber, drill, and assembly files ready for a turnkey CM 4. Basic bring-up guide covering power-on test points and BLE RF verification Acceptance criteria • Board powers and advertises over Bluetooth using the sample firmware binary I will supply. • Heart-rate and accelerometer outputs stream correctly over I²C/SPI to the MCU and are visible on UART log.
