I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. 1 - the approach you pictured is not the common one while developing a new product... 2 - in the first place it is necessary to know on which activity field the product will be used, which will be the maximum stress conditions, and what kind of people will work with (from a shovel to a laser is a huge difference...) 3 - based on this basic info, with your drawings/sketches, i could design, inspect asses the technical solution and where necessary to adjust, in order to have a flawless design we could discuss all the details here...
