For a preliminary lab design, it's essential to properly constrain the safety unit along with the working area. While designing a lab, every place has to be wisely utilized from the experiment performance corner to material storage place. It's highly crucial to plan lab systematically i.e proper electrical wiring and water flow pipes, emergency exit area, detectors for smoke and leakages and emergency contact number to safety manual. With reference to the above common details, I am currently working as a Project Engineer at IISc, Bangalore working on the design, study, and analysis of large scale test loop for super-critical steam at 230 bar and 500C temperature analysis using PIV and LDV laser diagnostic tool.
