I am constructing a simple Solar PV structure. I am doing the following: 1) Purchasing some Venetian blinds 2) Connect the blinds directly to a motor via a spindle 3) The motor will be turned on via a sensor, opening and shutting the blind. The blind should close when the sensor reads high light intensity level, and open when below this value, or something along these lines. 4) The power generated will be supplied by solar panels. All I need to know is what sensors are necessary. Everything else is finalised. This is a very small job.

Hello, please confirm me what is finalized motors, microcontroller, watt of solar panel, battery ? About sensor, light sensors will help to detect the intensity of light so according the motor rotates the blinds. There are many light intensity sensors are available in market, before to choose I need to know the blinds size , motor voltage , solar panel detail that you have finalized. waiting for your response. chanchal kumari

I can provide you with the manufacturers data sheets for the components necessary to finalize your design. I will also include a simple wiring schematic for your use and can deliver it in PDF format. I have 20 years of experience in electrical engineering producing electrical design documents for motor control applications. I have also successfully completed several motorized blind projects in commercial conference rooms for various clients including Chase Bank, Allied Insurance, and Purdue University. I have 18 years of experience in the USA and I am very familiar with the requirements of the National Electric Code as pertains to motor control circuits. Solar projects are also a regular part of my current responsibilities and I am well aware of current technologies applicable to those systems. You can see examples of my work here in my design portfolio https://www.freelancer.com/u/ProjexConsultant?w=f Please contact me to discuss the details of this project. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for taking the time to review my bid.

Good day Sir, I have an electronic and electrical engineering degree. I am interested in your job posting with heading “Solar PV Design – Sensor -- 2” and in particular specifying the sensors. I have extensive working experience in electronics. I worked on radar and digital signal processing and in particular in implementing a range tracking loop. The loop was implemented with two Intel 2920 signal processors running in conjunction with each other. The programming was done in Assembler. I was further involved in several other electronic projects. I also have experience in other embedded systems. I have some knowledge of C and the use thereof in the programming of the Pic family of microcontrollers. I have done work in C++, Visual Basic and Python. I did several Arduino projects and I also have experience in Processing and Java. I will explain everything to you what I am doing and why. I am available on Skype, email and phone. Contact me should you have any queries. Regards, Deon.
