English-Japanese Consecutive Interpreter Needed

Project Details €30.00 – 250.00 EUR I'm seeking a skilled consecutive interpreter for an two different upcoming customer meeting. The first meeting is set for Wednesday 27th of May at 9h00 at Chiba/Kashiwa near Kashiwa-Tanaka Station. The duration is expected to be 2 hours max. I expect to meet 15 minutes before the meeting. The meeting is set for Friday 29th of May at 10h00 at Shinagawa City, near Aomono-yokochō Station. The duration is expected to be 2 hours max. I expect to meet 15 minutes before the meeting. The interpreter must be proficient in both English and Japanese, able to translate seamlessly between the two languages. The meeting will focus on product specifications and contract negotiations within the manufacturing sector. While prior experience in manufacturing is not a strict requirement, it would be beneficial. Key Responsibilities: - Function as a consecutive interpreter during the meeting - Utilize technical vocabulary and context provided in advance - Assist with understanding of product specifications and contract negotiations Prior to the meeting, I will provide some technical information to allow time for research on relevant vocabulary. I will also give a brief context of the meeting, including my relationship with the customer and the reason for the meeting. Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proficient in English and Japanese - Skilled in consecutive interpretation - Familiarity with the manufacturing sector (beneficial but not required) - Able to translate technical vocabulary - Experience in interpreting during product specifications and contract negotiations Please ensure you have the capacity to prepare adequately before the meeting.
