Redesign & Data Migration for ERPNext

Title: [Hiring] ERPNext Specialist – Data Migration & Custom Role-Specific "Action" Dashboards The Project We are looking for an experienced ERPNext developer to help us move away from a "static" ERP setup to a proactive, data-driven system. Currently, our instance is too open, and users often don't know what their next task is. We need a specialist who can handle a full data import and then build a highly customized, role-based environment. Key Objectives 1. Data Migration & Security Import all legacy data into ERPNext while ensuring correct mapping. Strict Data Isolation: Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and User Permissions. Staff (Sales, Stock, Manufacturing) should only see the data relevant to their role and branch—no more "everyone seeing everything." 2. Role-Specific "Action" Dashboards The standard ERPNext dashboards are not sufficient. We need custom Workspaces that answer two questions for every user: "What is happening now?" and "What do I do next?" Lead/Sales Manager: Needs to see unassigned leads, lead aging, bottlenecks in the funnel, and pending orders at a glance. Stock & Manufacturing: Clear visibility on stock shortages, pending Pick Lists, and real-time Work Order progress. Company Owner: A "Bird’s Eye View" of high-level performance, P&L, and department-wise health. 3. Workflow Automation ("Next Action" Logic) Implement Assignment Rules and Milestones so tasks are automatically pushed to the right user. Use Custom Notifications and Kanban views to ensure no lead or order is left stagnant. Technical Requirements Deep expertise in Frappe Framework (v14/v15). Proven experience with Workspace Customization and Custom HTML Blocks. Strong knowledge of Server/Client Scripts and Query Reports. Familiarity with Frappe Insights (for advanced visualization) is a major plus.
