Accounting Manager / Controller Bookkeeper
We are a market-leading technology company, based in Santa Ana, CA. With a solid 8+ year history, and a very exciting future ahead of us, we are looking for an experienced full-charge Accounting Manager & AR Collections Manager to work on a range of financial responsibilities, and provide support to the company’s Exec team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of five years' experience and be proficient with accounting systems, including QuickBooks, and MS Office applications. We are looking for a motivated, intelligent, and positive team player who is adept at handling the full range of financial duties, as well as handling Office Management and Payroll functions. This position will be a home-office based position, so the expectation is that you will have a home office.
Key competencies must include:
Experience with all aspects of accounting systems, including QuickBooks. Proficient in the full range of accounting functions, including producing monthly financial statements and other management reports for the President.
AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, payroll, sales tax, cash projections, and collections.
Collections / A/R
MUST have advanced Excel skills.
Experience with HR duties a big plus.
Experience in PowerPoint is a big plus.
Accounting degree, and 5+ years+ experience is a must
Strong Financial, Administrative, Office Management, and computer skills
Must be highly proficient in QuickBooks
Proficient in MS Office applications
Ability to work independently, highly organized and able to multi task in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal English a must.
Experience with Collections and A/R
Strong Analytical Skills
High level of discretion and confidentiality required for this position
