I hope you can help here, I think this might need a bit of back and forth, but perhaps not, depends on how well you can follow this thread.
We have a spreadsheet in excel I am sent on request, that I then copy and paste the details into this attached worksheet.
I use this to then separate out what each contractor did and send to each one so they can see what they should be invoicing us for. They then reply yes that’s correct or let me know if they did overtime, or if we had an error. Instead I want them to be able to change what needs changing and send back so I can update this end.
The resulting updates let me send revised hours to each contractor using Final Contractors Invoice To Me Tab.
When it works, this is very useful, but it has a few quirks. And it can be improved too. The job here is to do both. You will need to review the attachments to understand this I full.
Because it can get confusing as the contractors send in invoices, and the client get invoices from this, I will refer to them as contractors invoice and client invoice.
So, contractors get their contractor invoices to check, and when all are approved the all Shifts tab is updated and amended, then the client invoices are created.
