I need to have the excel based application for following need:-
The purpose of the application is to scan and track barcoded inventory. The application will run on 3 computers, (all connected to same internet connection), so the data should be updated real time between the 3 computers.
What I need the application to do:-
Each of our products have 2 barcodes on them. We always need to scan both barcodes.
The purpose of the application is to track the inventory movement between 1 computer and next.
So the first time, the barcode (2 barcodes) is scanned in 1computer excel sheet, then add the inventory to inventory IN column along with date stamp for it
For 2nd Time the barcode (2 barcodes) is scanned in same computer, that inventory is moved to inventory OUT column with date stamp
The main excel file (to be shared between 3 computers) can be updated from any of the computer location. The Computer 1 will have 6 Columns, Inventory In which will have 2 columns for 2 barcodes, and 1 more column for Time Stamp (the date and time the inventory is scanned in), plus Inventory Out which will another 2 columns for 2 barcodes, Time Stamp for inventory out
So overall excel file will have 18 columns (6 columns per computer as stated above x 3 computers).
I also need a macro function, which when I run it, will search for the 2 barcodes in inventory in, and the same 2 barcodes in inventory out column, and if matched, it will remove the complete barcode entries in those columns and add it in a new sheet called Finished Sheet
