- I have a complex financial model which I want to turn into a web application where founders of start-ups can sign up and create there own financial model by filling out the assumptions that flow through the model.
- There are a few different pieces (revenue, hiring, operating expenses, etc) of the financial model that tie together to create the Financial Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows) for the model.
- Each piece of the model has its own set of Assumptions that the founder will input in the first Tab which is the "worksheet" - The data that the founder inputs will be tied into fairly complex formulas that generate the output.
- I don't want the user to be able to see the formula's that are embedded into the spreadsheet (so the point would be they go through a set of steps in filling out their assumptions (inputs), which they can be edited/change at anytime and when they are done inputting all the assumptions, they can see the final financial model based on there assumptions.
I'm just looking to test this out with one model or a small piece of the model to see how it will work and look, but if it works well, I will want you to build this out for the entire model as well as many more financial templates I will provide.
I've looked into several Low-Code Development Platforms that allow you to take Excel Spreadsheets and turn them into Web Apps, but I was not able to figure out how to get that working (Quickbase, Caspio, Spreadsheetweb, Kintone, etc.). Ideally these Low-Code platforms seem like the best and quickest way forward to test this out so if you have experience in these types of platforms and this sounds like it would work there, I'd love to chat. I'd prefer using a low/no-code platform if possible.
An example of this would be something similar to Flightpath Finance: [login to view URL]
