I am in payroll manufacturing business. Monthly HR gives me excel file of all employees (1 000) that show actual employee hourly rates and from this I need to group based on type of labour (40 cost categories)and come up with next month average hourly labour rates for each of the 40 cost categories I need to also identify monthly change activity perhaps a pivot table Would work?
