The finality of the project is to send emails to candidates and to future managers about the proposed salary package offered to a candidate about to be hired in a company.
At the start, I have a global existing excel file with all people working in the company, their salary, their start date, their position, the department they work in, etc.
This existing file is of course constantly changing : salaries sometimes go higher, people leave the company, change of roles, etc.
What I would need to be created is another excelfile which would consist in two tabs (see document here attached). On the first tab, once you would insert the position name and the department, "salary max " and "salary min" tabs would be automatically filled in by checking in the main existing file the lowest and highest salaries for the other employees in the same position. "Salary max" should however be 20% lower than the highest salary (the aim is to limit somehow new salaries in the company…).
Once salaries have been filled in, the tabs below (about extra legal advantages) would have to be filled in manually.
Once all data have been completed in tab 1, I would have to go to tab 2 where all prefilled data would appear on a kind of proposal document. Below, there would be a graph with all salaries of other people in the same department and same position. Points in blue would represent people in same position and in same department. Points in red would represent employees in the same department.
Two "buttons" would be reprsented on the side of this tab and allowing to send an email to the candidate : the salary proposal would appear with all details in the body of the email (but without the graph (the employee does not have to know how his salary compares to his colleagues !)
The second button would allow to send an email to the manager, but this time with a graph.
