Our company is a custom pool builder in search of a Bookkeeper/Office Assistant for immediate full-time employment. Our core focus is to be leader in the pool construction industry.
Job Purpose: To provide and maintain accurate financial records and reporting. The position requires considerable concentration and creativity. It is subject to stress caused by changing priorities, tight deadlines and being constantly busy. It includes providing appropriate administrative services to support requirements of all employees and departments. Position involves answering phones and assisting the public.
Responsibilities and Duties
Represents the company in a professional and enthusiastic manner by providing exceptional level of customer service and adhering to our core values in all functions of their job responsibility and interaction with internal and external customers.
Assists with special projects as needed.
Reports to work on a daily and timely basis.
Bookkeeping; record vendor invoices, prepare payment requests, prepare, process and submit weekly payroll, record and prepare all customer payments/invoices.
Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
Maintain complete filing system both paper and electronic to support historical records.
Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls.
Provide clerical support, typing letters, etc.
Track office supply inventory and order as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of Two years of prior experience performing bookkeeping/office assistant tasks
Experience in the Pool Construction industry preferred
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Excel, data entry )
Experience with Quickbooks
Must be proficient in math
