We need a detail and organized inventory analyst that can watch our warehouse inventory levels weekly. Our sales are dependent on the inventory we have in stock. If we run out of stock for too long, we loose sales. 1. Review and forecast sales volume and order quantities for our warehouse(s) twice a week (by category or items). 2. Maintain top 50 items in stock. 3. This person needs to watch the inventory daily for slow downs and sudden sell through. 4. Identifying the sales movements, he/she must try to push back or submit new order qty based on the different vendors we order from. Each product has a minimum order qty and production lead time from different factories. Therefore, all these variables need to be accounted for. 5. Send updated inventory "(IPL see attached) twice a week to our office. (We will send u excel file to update) 6. Weekly sales summary of category and top sellers must be provided. You've listed 6 tasks but I see that your most urgent task is most likely going to be getting the re-order level which will be a product of the lead time and the usage rate. I usually add a factor of safety as well (safety stock) to help ensure we are on track. With time, I believe getting the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) would really help to forecast.
