Lightspeed Retail import/Export link via excel

We have a retail setup with Lightspeed Retail.

Lightspeed has a few shortcomings which we need to overcome using Excel (2007 preferable)

We need the ability to export to excel inventory data, filtered based on one of the following criteria:

Category

Tags

Vendor

Brand

Wildcare in Title

The export needs to include:

system ID

Title

Long Description

Shipping Weight

Length

Width

Depth

All Tags

All price levels

Taxable

UPC

EAN

Custom SKU

Manufacturer SKU

Category

Brand Vendor

Custom Fields

Import Must include the ability to import all of the exported fields. For tags, the update should erase all existing tags and replace them with the imported tags.

Do NOT bid on the project if you are unfamiliar with Lightspeed. Their API is not for beginners and requires prior knowledge and familiarity with their system.

The solution should be as easy as requesting an export based on the filters, making the needed changes, and reimporting the spreadsheet for the changes to be made.

The solution needs to be clean, straightforward, and unhosted.
