I have a Matlab code that imports data on the daily sunspot numbers from 1945-2017. This data is converted from daily sunspot numbers to the monthly averages. As this data is too noisy the monthly averages are smoothed and plotted based on yearly averages. The idea behind this project was to take these yearly averages and form a prediction data set based on the trend of the yearly data. This prediction set can show where possible solar storms will happen next i.e. areas of high yearly sunspot averages. Currently, this code forms prediction data based on the monthly averages before they are smoothed. I need someone to change the format so the prediction data is formed based on the yearly smoothed data instead. This data set will need to be printed and plotted. I will need this change to be made within the next couple of hours.
