Project Business Case template in Excel

I would like to get an Excel-based business case template that allows us to determine ROI on technology investment projects (I.e. building a data warehouse, custom software development, etc). The template would need a summary page that can easily be copied to PowerPoint if needed (example summary screenshot attached) . The spreadsheet also needs a tab for key assumptions (discount rate, capitalization term, capitalization minimum, etc). The template will need another tab to enable entry of costs, benefits (financial and non/financial), and capital expenses over a times series of 3-5 years on a separate tab. The data entry tab needs to be structured as follows:
• Allow for entry of cash and/or capital costs (labor, license, etc) on as monthly basis for up to 24 months
• Allow for entry of ongoing expenses on an annual basis (I.e. yearly license or maintenance)
• Benefits on a yearly basis for 5 years
The data entry page should have a section of rows for key common costs and allow for the addition of rows without breaking calculations (each of these could be more than one row):
• Hardware/cloud resources (storage, compute, etc)
• Software license / maintenance
• People (associate, consultant, contract) resources to build processes and capabilities
• Other (catch all for any other expenses not called out above)
The data entry page should have a section of rows for categories of financial benefits and allow for the addition of rows without breaking calculations (each of these could be more than one row):
• Revenue increases (new clients, better retention, new products, etc)
• Reduced costs (headcount reduction, license reduction, maintenance reduction, etc)
• Lower losses (credit loss, fraud, claims, etc).
• Better use of cash (I.e. timing, lower reserves, etc)
• Other (catch all for any benefits not called out above)
The data entry page should also have a section to capture key non-financial benefits we can show on the summary page such as:
• Employee satisfaction
• Customer satisfaction
• Regulatory Compliance
From a calculation and chart perspective, the summary page would need the following:
• Break even period (months)
• ROI
• Net Present Value
• Chart of annual cash flows
• Chart of internal versus external expenses
