The key here is making the saree itself the subject—not turning a traditional shoot into a fashion-editorial session. I’d keep the setup warm and natural, with soft indoor lighting and a culturally appropriate background, then structure the shoot around the details you specifically want visible: full drape in the standing frames, and clean pleat/pallu presentation in the seated poses. The final selection would be lightly corrected for exposure, colour and small distractions only—no heavy filters or skin processing—along with the original high-resolution files for your own use. Before shooting, I’d also lock the saree, jewellery/accessories and background together so the styling feels coherent rather than simply “traditional.” One thing I’d like to confirm: how many final standing and seated images would you like, and do you already have a particular saree colour/draping style in mind?
