We use FileMaker 18 for our in-house CRM. We have an existing integration with Freshdesk whereby we use the following API calls to Create and Update contacts that are already present in FileMaker, in Freshdesk: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] The integration writes a primary and a secondary email address into Freshdesk for each contact. Where a contact's PRIMARY email address is ALREADY present in Freshdesk at the time of import, the API generates an error message to say so. Going forward, and the subject of THIS project, we'd like you to then GET the Freshdesk Contact ID to write back into FileMaker using the [login to view URL] API call. Where a contact's SECONDARY email address exists as a separate contact in Freshdesk, we'd like you to use the [login to view URL] API call to instruct the merger of the two contacts and then write back the appropriate Freshdesk Contact ID into FileMaker. A solution file will be provided.

I will create two new restful calls to make sure that a)if primary email exists in Freshdesk, return and store its id in Filemaker and b) if secondary email exists as separate contact in Freshdesk, merge the two contacts in Freshdesk.
