Each transaction in your master register should remain traceable to its original workbook and row. I would preserve dates, symbols, quantities, prices and brokerage codes while entering purchases, sales, dividends, splits, interest and fees. I would reconcile totals by account and currency, flag possible duplicates and keep an exception list for questionable quantities or codes. I would not silently correct source figures or combine unlike currencies. Please share the master template and approximate transaction count.
