PROJECT BRIEF AND JOB DESCRIPTION AgenticTrader: Expert Strategist and Partner Optimization of Multi-Agent AI Models through DPO Alignment Package: €20,000 + Equity (Capital Shares) Involvement: High / Key Profile STATEMENT OF INTENT We are looking for a financial markets expert ready to fully commit alongside us. This key role is not about passively managing risk, but about injecting macroeconomic and directional intelligence into the core of our AI system in order to maximize performance generation (Alpha). PROJECT CONTEXT AgenticTrader is an autonomous algorithmic trading system driven by a cutting-edge multi-agent architecture. Currently deployed in simulated production (paper trading) on Alpaca Markets, the system relies on large language models (LLMs) via Amazon Bedrock to make market decisions that are fully articulated in natural language. Three specialized agents collaborate continuously within a strict causal chain: Strategy Planner (Thesis) triggers Market Analyst (Timing), which triggers Execution Agent (Sizing/Order). All interactions, news flows, and trading decisions are archived in a database and reconciled with the portfolio's actual P&L. We are entering a critical phase led by our ML engineer: replacing the commercial models with proprietary models that are fine-tuned and aligned via DPO (Direct Preference Optimization). WHY THIS PROFILE AND NOT A RISK MANAGER? A conventional approach would tend to favor a Risk Manager to audit an algorithm. Within our architecture, this choice is scientifically and economically invalid for a single hire: Securing already automated: The risks of extreme loss or algorithmic ruin are already mechanically constrained by strict safeguards hard-coded in Python (systematic Stop-Losses, maximum exposure per position of 10%, and a global circuit breaker that shuts down the system at -15% monthly drawdown). The need is on Alpha, not on defense: The major challenge of our AI retraining lies at the first link in the chain, the Strategy Planner. If the initial economic thesis is mediocre, optimizing timing or risk makes no sense. We need to teach the machine to formulate macroeconomic reasoning of excellence and to stop missing opportunities. KEY MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Working in tandem with the technical team, the expert will use a graphical diagnostic interface assisted by a forensic agent to audit the system's failures and successes after the fact, and to generate the alignment dataset (DPO Pairs). Optimization of Macroeconomic Theses (DPO Type A and B) Assess the relevance of the Strategy Planner's reaction to complex textual news flows (central bank announcements, geopolitical tweets, macroeconomic indicators). Correct the AI's reasoning when it overreacts to market noise or underestimates a major trend. Reframing of Timing and Missed Opportunities (DPO Type C and E) Analyze the price charts submitted to the AI and correct its technical reading (identification of supports/resistances, RSI divergences). Identify cycles of inaction where the AI remained liquid while an obvious opportunity was emerging, and dictate the thesis it should have adopted. DESIRED PROFILE AND SKILLS This position is aimed at a markets professional passionate about technological innovation and artificial intelligence. Expertise: Global Macro Trader, Portfolio Manager, Strategist Analyst, or Market Economist. Macroeconomic Culture: Understanding of market psychology, cross-asset correlations, and monetary policy. Technical Analysis: Mastery of chart reading. Logical Mind: Ability to break down financial reasoning into clear step-by-step natural language in order to effectively train the AI model. POSITION TERMS AND PACKAGE We are looking for a genuine growth partner ready to commit in a structuring way. Fixed Compensation: €20,000. Flat-rate starting compensation to secure the time invested in the critical annotation phase. Equity (Capital Shares): Percentage to be negotiated depending on profile. Significant allocation of capital shares to align directly with the success of our models. Career Path: Prospect of advancement to a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) position as the autonomous model raises capital from third parties.
