Ok, so, you come up with a good project name.
I would like a flash program which reads a stream of 320x200x256c PCX files from an URL and renders them at a high rate of speed in a browser. 15 frames per second on suitable equipped Pentium 4 / [url removed, login to view] will be the minimum acceptable frame rate. The pcx files are extremely small, 3-5 kilobytes. They will be returned in a continuous delimited stream by a custom php program running on my server.
Simultaneously it will read multiple pressed keys on the keyboard and return them to the server. The acceptable keys for return to the server will be specified in a configuration file which will be hosted on the server and read by the flash application at startup.
The flash application must capture arrow key and space bar events and prevent the browser from interpreting them for it's own use e.g. to move the page around or go to the bottom of the page.
The application at a minimum must work in IE6.0, IE7.0, and Firefox 2.x on Windows Vista and Windows XP.
PCX is an old run length encoded video format. You can read about the format here or google it
