A Client require the implementation of 3 algorithms in Actionscript 3 and Flex Builder 3. These are pathfinding, visibility(field of view) and occlusion
plus sprite steering control for a sprite that can move in 8 directions in an isometric environment based on the path returned by the pathfinding algorithm. The final result should match RTS games where exploration and movement of sprites occurs like in Age Of Empires or games like Baldurs Gate as far as visibility and occlusion is concerned.
There is a sample image attached ([url removed, login to view]) of the inside of a house which should be used for all testing and final acceptance of the algorithms. There is also a sample sprite with all walking frames in 8 [url removed, login to view] are also three images with notes to make the requirements clearer and an attached document with more speicific details.
