am looking to launch a 3D chat service early-October 2006.
** WHAT DO I NEED IT TO DO? **
Guests will be able to load the service (preferably Shockwave based) and will be faced with a log-in window. They can then register and create their personalised character, or 'avatar' that they customize. It represents you in the "Town" or "City". They can then enter rooms and talk! They will need to be able to stand, walk, and sit on "sofas". Clicking a character will cause "information" about the character to appear including an assigned badge (if they are members of a club, or a moderator, etc). A message console will need to pop up so they can send messages to other characters who they have added as friends and they will be able to invite their friends into the room they are in. Moderators will also need a management console (either remote or in-game) which allows them to send "Alert" messages (a message which will pop up to all characters in a room, the whole site, or individually selected characters), kick users and ban users and also change their badge and information. Characters will NOT be able to change their "badge" themselves. They navigate the rooms by clicking on free squares.
*** CONCEPT BASED ON... ***
[url removed, login to view] is the perfect example. This project although complicated should be doable as three new services have been launched: [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] - all of which have been made by children around 16 (Fusioncity is run by a 15 year old) so similar applications would be appreciated.
If anyone can do this please let me know. I think Macromedia/Adobe Studio Director is required for this.
As well as a fee the developer will receive 25-40% stake in the site and thus receive 25%-40% of any profits.
After the project has finished we may also approach you with further work as we would like to develop features, etc.
****** PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT HTML - WE HAVE THE SITE BUT WE NEED THE CLIENT (GAME) DEVELOPED ******
As it is being launched end-September or early-October you have plenty of time to make the delivery.
