Design project is split into 4 Categories
Company Name: Habitual Fix
Tagline: “Fresh Food Addicts”
The hottest new concept in takeaway food will be opening in Auckland, New Zealand on August 18th. We are a fresh food takeaway store selling salads, sandwiches, sushi, juices, smoothies and coffee and have an emphasis on real, fresh food.
We are out to create fresh food addicts
We are committed to energizing our customers through
our product, our attitude and our environment.
Habitual Fix's mission is to provide our customers a convenient, fast, healthier food fix at an affordable price. Our core products are
•Organic Soups (seasonal)
•Fresh juices squeezed onsite daily
•Fair trade organic coffee
•Fresh fruit and low fat smoothies
We will put the “Food” back into Fast Food. We have sourced a wide range of the best ingredients available to serve to our customers. Chefs have designed our menu with a strong focus on taste and nutritional value. We have been extremely selective with our suppliers to ensure they are as passionate about great food as we are. Utilizing our experience in QSR, we have designed kitchen systems to ensure a fast and personable experience for our customers.
Our marketing is to some extent ‘edgy’ with references to our food being a daily fix like an addiction.
Design theme and background for 3 x 46” digital menu board in retail food takeaway business.
We are in the process of opening our first of many stores and are looking to have our menu displayed digitally on 3 x 46” LCD screens. This project is to design a menu template, which we can use every time we open a new store.
We want a designed background for each LCD screen, which conveys our brand that we can overlay our menu and pricing. The background can be static or interactive but must not interrupt the reading of the menu and pricing too much. The media will be controlled by MSO Gold which you can view the operating functions and capabilities by visiting

We would like to see something fresh and fun.
The design for the store fit out is very professional and the background needs to be in keeping with this. Our interior designers rendering of the interior fitout is also attached, the 3 screens go along the back wall behind the servery area. The LCD screens will sit approximately 3m up a wall and 4m-6m away from the customers so they will need to be laid out logically so that customers can read them with ease.
We have attached our Logo and some packaging design. The Pantone colour for the logo is # 1805.
The screen layout will need to allow for ongoing changes. Our menu will change regularly and we will need to be able to add/remove different menu items, images, videos, specials etc. We would like to be able to change menu prices and items etc, perhaps editing the content ourselves through illustrator or a similar program.
A full copy of our menu items will be forwarded on designer being appointed

Design stage 1 of website
Since our business is a single store which will eventually grow into multi site, a lot of the functions of a multi site business website will not be suitable to begin with. We want a website which can grow and add functions as the business grows. For this reason we have only specified the first stage to be developed in the outset. This being said, the website must be built on a platform which can handle additional functions and user loads as sites and customer awareness increases. We have already registered the domains [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]
The design of this
Stage 1 Website Development Requirements
1. The company background and our brand message
2. A home page,
Store Locator page which contains store location, phone number. We would like the store location to be linked with Google maps.
3. The full menu that can be downloaded in PDF and printed if the customer desires
4. Contact page containing Information relating to Feedback and complaints, Employment opportunities, out catering etc which opens an email template when the customer enquires.
5. A promotional page, which has all current promotional activity. We want this function to also have “Email to a friend” capability.
Design Loyalty “ Addicts Card”
Our POS system supports a loyalty point’s card. This card is plastic and has the same dimensions as a standard credit card. We want our card to be a take on the mythical ‘no limit’ American express card only supplied to the “Super Rich”.

We want to capture as much of the black card as possible with some of the wording personalized to our brand. We have some changes listed.
1. American Express wording on top changed to Addicts Express
2. Habitual fix logo in bottom right hand corner of card in the same silver incorporated on the card. This would be about the size of a visa logo on an ordinary credit card.
3. The face of the centurion will have a hand holding up a sandwich ready to eat it
Design initial Email viral Advertisement
We require a viral ad to be produced for the opening of the store.
This would be circulated via email and also available via download from our website.
The idea behind it is to obviously drive awareness to the store. The ad would be sized to fit on a computer screen and have catchy picture which ties in the fresh food and addict nature of our brand. This picture needs to be extremely punchy as it will do most of the talking for the ad. We would like it to be fun and maybe a bit cheeky too.
The text will just read “Attention addict! Your fresh food fix has now opened at 120 Beaumont Street” with a link to [url removed, login to view]
