We are looking for a flash developer who can deliver the project in a timely manner.
This developer must have extensive flash knowledge, working with webcams, and some working knowledge with Wowza CDN/Akamai Streaming.
1. When initiated, automatically show the connect webcam dialog box and connect to local webcam
2. Webcam video window should have a minimum size of 400x400 and able to go full screen
3. Button overlays & status
3a. "Start Streaming". Should not appear initially for at least 10 seconds. Centered bottom. Pressing this:
3a1. Calls an external http post that initiates an API call to start up the CDN endpoints (we supply code, you just send a post). Returns null
3a1. 10 second wait (show spinner with text "Starting up global CDN endpoints...")
3a2. Starts the NetConnect (data supplied from external xml file)
3a3. 10 second wait (show spinner with text "Connecting your webcam stream to regional cloud entrypoint")
3a4. Text in lower right corner "Status: Streaming"
3a5. In lower right corner: Active Viewers: ### (pull data from our MSSQL Server) (poll every 10 seconds)
3a6. In lower right corner: Session Tokens: ### (pull data from our MSSQL Server) (poll every 10 seconds). Save current token count in temp variable. If new value is more/different, play sound (i.e. coins dropping). We can supply the code page that you can poll (prolly generated xml)
3a7. Change button text to "Stop Streaming"
3b. On Stop Streaming btn click, Call external API post (we supply) (returns null)
3b1. Text in lower right corner: "Status: Offline"
3b2. No longer poll active user and token data
These streams will be sent through Wowza CDN for distribution with HLS/HDS. No transcoding will take place as this is "passthrough".
So, the following MUST be in place in order for that to work:
1. 480p resolution (h.264) .. 16:9 (Widescreen) -- 854 x 480
2. RTMP protocol (this flash will do the encoding)
3. Frames per second: 30
2. Keyframe interval: 2 (we think this will be optimal, but are open to suggestion)
3. Main compression profile quality
4. Correct microphone quality and codec for HLS/HDS
We will supply the testing accounts, and endpoints.
Audio encoding must be: AAC
Other encoding parameters:
1600 Kbps (with a min of 512kbps and Max of 2000kbps).
Main profile H.264
30 fps, 60 for the keyframe interval
encoder window only.. player side not needed (already have)
This project is JUST for a encoder flash..
