The project is to create a Flash Lite application for mobile phones that will display accurate and calibratable audio waveforms from headphone jack input. Creating the waveforms themselves is fairly well documented ([url removed, login to view]) but creating the waveform in realtime is not something I know how to do. (maybe there's some getStream method I don't know about?)
The basic idea here is to create an application for dummies like me who have to monitor audio levels sometimes, but aren't expert at reading VU meters. I want to have a graphic reference so I can see if I'm getting good levels or peaking. I need to calibrate to 1 kHz for accuracy and see two separate channels (probably in separate colors) but other than that, it doesn't need to be pretty. Just functional.

Hello! I'm very interested for this project. Please look at my profile. I'm not simple flasher or programmer - I have knowledges in many area (including audio electronics). With best regards, Alexander
