PDF Page Flipper Project

Overview: Design a page flipper that will allow a person to flip through the pages of a catalog/magazine by clicking a button. The program must read a PDF file to get the contents of the pages. Please see requirements for more information. Requirements: -Ability to proceed to the next/previous page by clicking once on the lower outside corner of any current page -Ability to grab the lower outside corner of any current page and manually turn it -Ability to zoom in on any part of a page and then zoom back out -Ability to hyperlink parts of the page -Ability to print out a page -Ability to email a link to the current application along with a check box for whether or not to include the current page(s) -Must read a PDF file to get the contents of the pages. Once read, it can store the contents in files or Microsoft SQL database, or continue to reference the PDF file. -Must be scalable enough to be used with a 400 page catalog at a reasonable speed -Must have attractive interface -Pages will be displayed as facing pages, except for the first page -Have a box with the current page number where you can type in a page number and press enter and have it go to that page number -Have a table of contents with a thumbnail of each page along with its page number. When you click on the thumbnail, it should go to that page number -Have search box with the ability to search all the text and then list the pages (with thumbnails) that have that text. When you click on the thumbnail, it should go to that page number -Must be fully functional on the latest versions of IE, Firefox and Safari -Full source code is required Technologies Expected: -Flash -PHP (running on Windows, latest version) -Microsoft SQL Server 2005 -Please notify us in your bid if you intend to use any other technologies or have any other software requirements Examples of Similar Products: - PM for examples that are very similar to what we want
